Project Scope 
Friends of the Parks inspires, equips, and mobilizes a diverse Chicago to ensure an equitable park system for a healthy Chicago. It’s a non-profit organization that focuses on the parks and people in the Chicago area. They are known for their friendliness, community-oriented programs, and sustainable environmental approach. This project aims to develop a trademark and cohesive identity system for their organization. This initiative aligns with their mission to inspire, equip, and mobilize a diverse Chicago for the establishment of an equitable park system promoting community health.  
Approach 
The project encompasses three phases: organizational research, trademark design, and trademark application. The redesigned trademark comprises a logotype featuring the organization's name and a distinctive logomark to establish a unique visual identity system that distinguishes Friends of the Parks within their sector. The logomark, crafted from five-leaf shapes inspired by the letter 'e' in the logotype, symbolizes inclusivity across diverse communities and facilitates conversations on local environmental issues.
